We'll provide a specific timeline estimate during your free consultation. Rush service is available for urgent projects when our schedule permits, for an additional 50% fee.
Yes! We offer complimentary pickup and delivery for all orders over $100 within Essex County. For smaller orders or locations outside Essex County, we can arrange delivery for a small fee. We also work with local dry cleaners and shoe stores as drop-off points for your convenience.
Our expertise spans all leather goods including: dress shoes, boots (work, fashion, cowboy), handbags, wallets, briefcases, belts, jackets, furniture, and accessories. We work with all leather types from standard calfskin to exotic leathers. If you have a specialized item, give us a call to discuss whether we can help.
Pricing varies based on the type of repair, materials needed, and extent of damage. Our most common services start at: shoe resoling from $150, heel repair from $45, leather dyeing from $65, and bag handle replacement from $75. We provide detailed, transparent quotes before any work begins. You'll never encounter unexpected charges.
Yes, color matching is one of our specialties. Our leather dyeing experts can match original colors with remarkable precision, even for discontinued colors or vintage items. For color changes, we work with you to select the perfect new shade and provide samples for approval before proceeding with the full treatment.
Absolutely. We regularly work with luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach, Prada, and many others. Our craftsmen understand the construction methods and materials specific to high-end brands. We source appropriate replacement hardware and materials that meet or exceed original quality standards.
We stand behind our craftsmanship with a comprehensive guarantee. If any issue arises from our repair work under normal use, we'll fix it at no charge. This includes stitching coming loose, sole delamination, and color fading on dyed items. Normal wear and tear and damage from accidents or misuse are not covered.
While appointments are preferred for detailed consultations, we welcome walk-ins for quick assessments during our business hours (Mon-Fri 8AM-6PM, Sat 9AM-4PM). To ensure we can give your item proper attention, we recommend scheduling an appointment, especially for complex restoration projects or multiple items.
We accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and digital payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is due upon completion of work. For large restoration projects, we may request a 50% deposit upfront.
Mold and mildew require specialized treatment. If the leather has been stored in damp conditions and developed mold, we can often save it with proper antimicrobial treatment. However, mold can permanently damage leather fibers and may leave stains. Early intervention is key โ bring affected items to us as soon as possible.
